BWLCHGWYN CABIN CREW

Bwlchgwyn Cabin Crew is a non-profit making childcare facility offering affordable childcare all children from within the Bwlchgwyn village and surrounding communities. We offer childcare including Flying Start/Playgroup, Wrap Around, After School Club & Holiday Club.

We are registered to provide Flying Start Funded places which run alongside our playgroup sessions, weekdays between 9am – 11:30am during term-time.

Wrap around childcare runs between 11:30am – 3:15pm, weekdays during term-time.

Holiday Club runs during all school holidays from 8:00am - 5:30pm every weekday

We offer Welsh Government’s 30 hour childcare offer, which includes funded childcare during term time to cover the cost of wrap-around care and up to 9 weeks during school holidays per academic year. If your child is eligible and already in receipt of childcare offer funding then parents are able to use multiple settings for this funding, all you need to do is advise the childcare offer team of Bwlchgwyn Cabin Crew’s details to add to your child’s account.

We offer the children lots of play and craft opportunities during the sessions and have a sheltered outdoor play area, a soft play area and full use of extensive grounds around the school which we make full use of as much as possible.

We are regulated by Care Inspectorate Wales who inspect and regulate our setting to ensure compliance, copies of most recent inspection reports can be found via their website. We employ suitably qualified staff and adhere to adult:child ratios in accordance with Care Inspectorate Wales national minimum standards. We pride ourselves on being an extremely caring and nurturing setting for all children who attend from 2 years through to 12 years.

Access to Cabin Crew is via the top gate entrance of school, walk along the pathway to the Cabin Crew gate and ring the doorbell for attention.
