COOK STARS

Cook Stars Faversham to Canterbury offers fun, friendly cooking classes designed especially for young children aged 2–5 and their parents or carers. Our classes provide a wonderful opportunity to learn, play and connect through food, all in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Each session is carefully planned to help children develop key early years skills. Through hands-on cooking activities, children build fine motor skills, improve hand–eye coordination, and explore sensory processing as they mix, pour, knead, taste and explore a wide range of ingredients. Cooking together also supports early listening skills, turn-taking and following simple instructions.

Our classes encourage children to become curious and confident around food, increasing their exposure to different flavours, textures and recipes in a positive, pressure-free way. This early experience can help lay the foundations for healthy eating habits and a willingness to try new foods.

Cook Stars is also about connection. Classes are designed as a shared activity for children and their parent or carer, offering valuable one-to-one time while learning something new together. At the same time, they provide a welcoming space to meet and socialise with other parents and carers, helping to build friendships and a sense of community.

The community hall has excellent baby changing facilities. The hall has wheelchair access and plenty of outdoor parking right outside. Free tea and coffee for grown ups.
