Debutots - Interactive online storytelling and dramatic play

Description

Debutots is all about stories, along with dramatic play and wrap-around activities to help your children exercise their imaginations, develop their confidence, build a foundation for literacy, strengthen awareness of others, problem solve and, above all, do all this while having lots of fun!

We will be singing songs with actions, sounds and making facial expression to explore themes, moods and emotions; playing games to introduce characters; listening to, taking part in and retelling original Debutots' stories; have live music and song, topped off with a cool down and meditative goodbye.

All of our stories are written to complement and supplement learning outcomes for EYFS and KS1 and our online delivery allows for children to socialise with others at a time, currently, when interaction with friends is vital to their well-being and positive mental health.

Our online story telling classes are award-winning and have received commendations by The Independent (IndyBest for online provision of children's activities), The Telegraph and The Mirror.

"My daughter loves the Debutots classes at her pre-school so I asked Steve to coordinate something for her birthday party. Then lockdown happened and I thought we were out of luck but Steve set up an online Debutots birthday story for her and 14 little friends. She loved it and so did the others; one boy cried when it finished, asking to have Steve back!
