Description

• Max capacity 100 (places must be booked in advance); Book by emailing us - eventbrite links are in the out of office and published on Facebook, then pay immediately via BACs

LOCATION
• Knoyle Hall Knoyle Rd Preston Park Brighton BN1 6RB
• Buses 5/5A/17/270/271/272/273 alight Preston Drove + 2 mins walk
• Loads of free parking available from 10am until 2pm.
• Don't park in Knoyle Hall car park; it’s for hirers/volunteers only
• Preston Park stn - 5 mins away; steps to all platforms

REFRESHMENTS
• Hot drinks included till 11:30 – bring your own mug/flask
• Selection of teas & coffees incl decaf
• Oato/dairy milk in glass bottles
• Home made vegan cakes/biscuits incl no gluten – 50p each. No peanuts used
• Healthy snacks for children - freshly prepared fruit & veg sticks, rice cakes, breadsticks etc, all vegan

TIMETABLE
• 10:00 Craft table (till 11:15); craft aprons provided
• 11:00 Story-time/snacks for kids
• 11:30 Tidy away toys – please help with this!
• 11:40 Bubble machine, songs, instruments & parachute
• 12:00 Finish

COST
• £2 for aduts, £1.50 per child over 6 months, free for babies under 6 months (they must be included in the hall capacity head count)

FACILITIES
• Baby corner with mats, gyms, toys, bouncers & high chairs
• Lots of toys; little tikes cars, scuttle bugs, dressing up costumes, lego, wooden train track, slides, buggies & dolls, dolls house, pretend kitchen, books, soft play ball pit & blocks, pikler arches/triangle/balance board etc
• Plenty of room for buggies in entrance/hall
• Toilets incl baby change
• Warm in winter, but cool in summer (with windows open)

VOLUNTEERS
• We're all volunteers – none of us get paid
• We each spend between 3 & 10 hours a week helping at Dragonflies
• New volunteers always welcome – you don’t pay the entrance charge & get free refreshments
• Please help us to also spend time with our children by assisting with tidying up

We always welcome new volunteers as we often lose people particularly when children start at primary school. Volunteers get free entry to playgroup.

Booking info & prices

Pre-booking is essential as demand for places is very high, particularly in the autumn & spring terms. Book via the eventbrite link (which can be found by emailing and checking the out of office reply, or on the Facebook page). Once you have ordered eventbrite tickets please pay asap via BACs. Booking is ONLY with eventbrite tickets AND payment in advance. 100 spaces in total; babies are free but a ticket must be ordered for them If you pre-book then are ill on the day, just email before 8am on the Thursday and we can move your booking to another week so you won't lose out financially.
