GOGGLESQUAD SWIM SCHOOL

Splash & Play is a calm, pay-as-you-go pool session designed especially for babies and young toddlers to enjoy unstructured water time with their parent or carer. Held on Wednesday mornings at Imber Court Pool in East Molesey, these sessions provide a warm, welcoming environment where little ones can explore the water through simple sensory play and gentle movement at their own pace. 

Guided by an early years specialist teacher who is accredited in the Aqua Sensory approach, Splash & Play blends the natural multi-sensory qualities of water with child-led discovery and parent-supported interaction. This isn’t a traditional swimming lesson - instead, the focus is on confidence, curiosity, connection and enjoyment, helping children form positive associations with water in a relaxed, nurturing setting. 

Sessions are suitable for babies and toddlers from around 3 months up to 2.5 years and are perfect for families who want an early pool experience without the structure of formal lessons, or who want extra water time to complement regular Parent & Child classes. 

During each 30-minute session, parents stay in the water with their child and support them as they engage with sensory play stations that use water, sound and texture to stimulate exploration and learning. With gentle guidance from the teacher, children are encouraged to move, touch, feel and interact, helping them grow in confidence, coordination and comfort in the water. 

Splash & Play runs in term time on Wednesdays, with limited spaces to keep the environment calm and supportive. You can book individual sessions on a pay-as-you-go basis, offering flexibility for busy families. Adults and children enjoy the warm pool, friendly atmosphere and opportunity to share special early years experiences together - whether you’re just starting your water journey or looking for a gentle way to complement ongoing swim classes. 

Sessions take place in the pool, a short stroll from the car park. Buggies and pushchairs can be left outside under the porch, with pin entry to the large male and female changing rooms.
