Get ready to relax and bond with your bump or baby through soothing gong and sound vibrations at this unique event.

Join Gong Mother in the heart of Herne Hill at Whippersnappers, Brockwell Lido for a peacefull gong and sound bath. These sessions offer mums to be and new mums a nourishing, calming sensory experience.

The deep vibrations of the gong help to reach a deeper state of relaxation and this is where the healing occurs. Gong and sound baths help to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and deepens the bond between parent and child.

Unlike a typical adult-only gong and sound bath, these are adapted for pregnancy and babies alike, including other sacred instruments and visual elements and a more flexible environment that welcomes feeding, sleeping, or playing babies.

Please note, these sessions are suitable for all age babies from newborn upwards, but before they start actively crawling. No crawlers/pre-walkers please, this is due to health and safety reasons only.

The sessions are not suitable for the following contraindiations: First trimester of pregnancy, epilepsy, heart conditions, 6-weeks post surgery.

For pregnant individuals, gong and sound baths are gentle and safe, however please consult your healthcare provider/midwife before attending in your 2nd trimester (from 13 weeks). Our insurance policy does not cover any stage of pregnancy.

As with any gong and sound bath, it is important for all to listen to your own body and leave if you feel uncomfortable.

Please bring necessary baby equipment you may need. Baby feeding is welcome. If bringing toys, please refrain from noisy ones. Please bring a blanket for you and for your baby to lie on.
Refreshments provided.
Any childcare provider can attend the session with your baby, eg au pair/nanny/grandparents.
