Description
Postnatal Yogabirth class - Connect your mind, body and breath to come home to yourself after childbirth. Suitable from 6-8 weeks postpartum, we rebuild an awareness of your core, pelvic floor and spine health. A gentle class that focuses on the foundations, so that you can move with ease and build up to further exercise safely and comfortably if you wish too.
The focus of the class is very much time for you, but babies are of course welcome and we incorporate some connection with them through the class. We expect crying, chatting, rolling, feeding, nappy changes and all the chaos they bring. Whether you or your little one arrives in tears, there will always be a warm welcome and no need to say sorry!
The transformation to motherhood/parenthood is not only physical, but emotional and spiritual too, which is why we always end the class with a tea and a chat. Your opportunity to share whatever you've been going through, highs and lows, and build a community of like-minded parents. I can't wait to welcome you and your little one to the mat.
