HAPPY WILD ONES

Join Aliex, Sarah & Chilli the dog in our magical woodland for family friendly forest school fun. Set amoung sweet chestnut and hazel trees, silver birch and oak our base camp creates a relaxing, engaing & safe space for your little wild ones to explore. With woodland crafting, tool work, relaxing in our hammocks, making mud paint & potions, singing, stories & lots more. Each session is inspired by a book we share together & children & their grown ups leave happy, relaxed & refreshed having filled up on their dose of nature and woodland feel good vibes. At colder times our campfire is lit and sessions include foraging and cooking on these days too! Session are for children aged 2 - 5 yrs with one grown up but younger siblings are FREE & most welcome! Bring a mug for hot chocolate & a snack! We can't wait to see you in the woods!

Bookings for Happy Wild Ones are usually taken on a termly basis.

We work hard a creating a community and forest school is long term process so it can be hard to get a proper idea of how things are just from one session, sometimes young children can get quite overwhelmed with the freedom and space of the woods and quite tired too. It generally takes them about 2 or 3 session to really get into the flow and be confident with what it’s all about. However from experience if you are an adult who is keen to be outdoors and want to come that really helps them so if you like the sound of what we do then I am sure you will enjoy yourselves. Our groups are very relaxed and very welcoming and we would love to share this with you.
