HEALING SPACE - PLAY THERAPY

Baby massage is a nurturing and loving practice that involves the gentle, rhythmic stroking of an infant's body using specialized techniques. Typically conducted over the course of 5 weeks, with each session lasting around 1 to 1.5 hours, baby massage has been a centuries-old tradition in many cultures. It has gained recognition in recent years for its numerous benefits. Baby massage offers a range of advantages for both the baby and the caregiver. For the baby, it promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and can help alleviate common discomforts like gas and colic. It also aids in the development of sensory awareness and body coordination. Additionally, baby massage is known to enhance bonding between the caregiver and the baby.

For the caregiver, providing a baby massage can be a deeply rewarding experience. It strengthens the emotional connection with the baby, deepens communication, and boosts confidence in handling the baby's needs. It's also an excellent way to learn more about the baby's cues and preferences.

This is a 5 week course, so please only sign up if you can commit to all sessions as every week we learn different strokes for different body parts - this is for babies between 0-6 months
