Description
Welcome to our village, an inclusive perinatal peer support community! Our free weekly postnatal meet-ups are held every Tuesday from 10.15am to 12pm. It's a restorative space for you and your baby to meet other local families, practice building your breast/chest/bottle feeding confidence, and explore a calm, mindful relationship with your little one, and importantly, yourself. We kick-off each session with some breathwork and mindfulness, and then a sharing circle where you are welcome to share as much or as little as you please. It is a safe and open space for you to reconnect and help nurture your mental and emotional wellbeing while your baby enjoys the rugs and toys provided, socialises with other babies, or just soaks up the atmosphere! Summer meet-ups are held in Crystal Palace Park (near the Brown & Green Life cafe), and when the weather turns, we head indoors to St Hugh's Community Centre in Anerley. Book your free spot via Happity, or get in touch to be added to our waitlist. **NB Our session on Tues 8th April 2025 will be a guest speaker special with from Jess Preston from Inside Voices.

Classes take place on the grassy picnic area opposite the Brown & Green Life cafe in Crystal Palace Park.
Nearest park entrance is on the corner of Thicket Road and Crystal Palace Park Road, SE20 8DY. Please bring something to sit on and anything you might need for you and your little ones for the changeable weather!

Tickets for our weekly mum and baby meet-ups are free, with donations welcome, but must be booked in advance. All other courses/workshops/special events with guest practitioners may be charged at a set rate, unless specified otherwise. It Takes A Village, Crystal Palace is entirely not for profit and powered by wonderful volunteers. Donations to help cover any venue costs and refreshments are gratefully received. All proceeds go straight back to ITAV to help us continue supporting families in our community. Thank You.
