Returning to Work After Maternity Leave: Coaching & Support Programme

Returning to paid work after mat leave can bring a mix of emotions. From excitement to uncertainty about separating from your baby, alongside big questions about confidence, work/life balance and adjusting to a new sense of identity.

Over six weeks, this carefully curated 3-part pilot programme from award-winning It Takes A Village Crystal Palace CIC offers space, guidance and practical support to help you feel grounded, capable and ready for what comes next.

Co-designed and facilitated by Emily Harper, Founder of It Takes A Village, with Work/Life Coach Siobhan Lendzionowski & Bernadette Chapman, this hybrid in-person & online programme blends expert coaching, practical tools and peer support in a warm, understanding environment. Together, we’ll slow things down, reflect on your mat leave experience and support you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Spaces are limited to 12 participants to help keep the group intimate and foster meaningful peer support.

To get the most from the journey, we recommend attending all 3 sessions 🤍

Over the 6 weeks we will:

✔ Explore confidence, work/life balance and identity shifts

✔ Share practical tools you can apply straight away

✔ Create space to connect with others in a similar situation

✔ Build a supportive peer network of mums returning to work together

✔ Offer time to pause, breathe and reflect so you feel prepared and supported 🌱

This programme is ideal if you’re approaching work again or a career change after having a baby and want more than practical advice - you want connection, reassurance and space to process this transition alongside others who truly understand.
