Beyond Birth classes are space and guidance to assist you on your journey through early parenting. Using techniques such as journaling, mindfulness, and relaxation we can help you to make those early months more rewarding, calmer and more connected. The six sessions are:
These sessions involve a mindfulness exercise as well as writing in a journal. You should be prepared with the facility to write things down, either physically or digitally, and try and be somewhere that you won't be disturbed. The sessions are planned for you to be able to have your baby with you as practicing mindfulness whilst being with our babies can really be a game changer. Partners or another adult who is supporting you are welcome to join the sessions alongside you too.
It is also not necessary to be a birth parent to join sessions, as whilst we may talk about some hormonal changes caused by the birthing process, all the tools are relevant and useful regardless of who gave birth.
