Little Artists Club - Saturday Studio Sessions are a playful yet thoughtful Saturday studio for 4–8 year olds, rooted in fine art techniques and creative exploration.
Each artist-led project lasts one to two weeks, giving children time to explore ideas, materials, and processes in depth.
Through stories and visual examples, we learn about different artists, their lives, and their work, then create our own expressive pieces inspired by what we discover.
Sessions balance learning and experimentation with imagination, storytelling, and plenty of fun in a relaxed studio environment.
Led by professional artist, mother of 2 Laura Gee who has 12 years experience running and facilitating art workshops.
Little Artist Club - Saturday Studio sessions are held in a self contained studio, There is a buzzer to get into the studios. You will receive an email with more details.
(please note there are steps to access the studio and no lift, if you have a pram for a sibling please let me know and we can help you carry it up the stairs)
Saturday Studio has two sessions - 4-6yr olds and 6-8 year olds, please note these are trail sessions, parents do need to stay - there is coffee and tea and biscuits for parents, for the younger children you can get involved too.
We may decide to allow it to be a drop off session for 6-8yr olds in the future.

Little Artist Club is a playful, immersive art workshop series for toddlers-children, inspired by the lives and work of great artists. Each session is inspired by a different famous artist and led by professional artist and mother Laura Gee Let your little one paint a canvas like Monet, collage like matisse and cover an installation in dots like Kasuma! Every child is an artist, these workshops are process driven, including painting, drawing, sculpture, printing and installation. Each session the little artists will discover a story about a new artist, and through play, drawing and painting and dress up will learn about artists all over the world and art history! Little artists will dive into a new world of creativity, exploring colour, materials, movement, and expression through hands-on activities. The workshops are inspired by the styles and stories of well-known artists from the past and present. The seasons of the year will be explored through different artists works as well. Making Art history fun for your little artist! Each session the little artists will discover a story about a new artist, and through play, drawing and painting and dress up will learn about artists all over the world and art history!
