Our LEVEL 1 FOUNDATION courses are suitable for babies up to the age of 12 months.

We have been teaching our renowned baby water safety programme devised by baby swim pioneer and Director of Little Dippers' Lauren Heston for over 30 years.

We teach babies to love the water and key water safety techniques in a fun and nurturing environment through repetition of key commands, songs and games. Each stage of the program builds on the exercises learnt in the previous level as your baby becomes more confident and stronger in the water.

As one of the first activities you can do with your baby swimming is great for building their heart, lung and muscle strength while the repetition of songs and commands helps develop their cognitive skills. It is also a lovely opportunity to have some special one to one bonding time with your baby with skin to skin contact.

Classes last 30 mins and take place in our lovely new warm water private pool at the Aqua-Hub Putney SW18 1PT. The pool is heated to a balmy 34C and equipped with aqua sensory lighting to create a calm and nurturing environment for parent and baby, while special UV filters allow for lower chlorine levels which is kinder to babies' skin and eyes.

We keep classes small with just 4 babies in a class to maintain a calm environment for both you and your baby.

It is heated to a balmy 34C with sensory lighting to create a calming environment and UV filters to allow for lower chlorine levels which is kinder to babies' skin and eyes.
