LITTLE MARVELS BABY MASSAGE

Hi, I'm Rachel, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (IAIM) and student reflexologist. I've been running sessions for parents and babies in and around Lewisham for several years now and I absolutely love it!
I'm very excited to combine the two things I LOVE - baby massage and nature, by running this outdoor baby massage session focusing on the holistic wellbeing of parents and babies.

This will be a relaxing and supportive session, you will learn the basic principles of baby massage, practice a guided relaxation for parents and learn the abbreviated massage routine. We will make the most of the beautiful woodland area at the centre and hopefully harness the calming affects of being in nature! At the end of the session there will be time to chat with other parents and have teas, coffees and cake. A bottle of unbranded organic sunflower oil is provided for massage, you will receive a booklet of massage strokes, and refreshments are included.
My classes are always relaxed and non-judgemental and you are welcome to participate as much or as little as you'd like. Classes are centred around the babies and crying, feeding, napping, cuddling is always welcomed, of course!

Location: Ringway Community Centre and woodlands, 268 Baring Road, Grove Park SE12 0DS

Facilities: baby changing facilities and space to store buggies if you choose to bring one.

Parking / Transport: There is limited parking available in the Ringway Community Centre carparks, and also parking on Cooper's Lane and Burnt Ash Hill. The 261 bus (from Lewisham or Bromley) stops near to the centre. Grove Park Train station is approx 10 minutes walk from the centre.

What to bring:
Please bring weather appropriate clothing, and sun protection if it's warm
A baby carrier or sling
If your baby has eczema, please bring the emollient they have been prescribed
Please wear comfortable clothes

This outdoor event is weather dependent, if unsuitable weather is strongly predicted then the event may be cancelled and you will be refunded. Let's pray to the weather gods!
