Description

As a deaf mum of two, it has been overwhelming to see the response to our evening class.
We have completed a session of deaf awareness, which has since been taken up by several of our local large companies, wanting to upskill their workforce.
Introduction to signing combines elements from the level one and two BSL curriculum.
Learning as new language whether that be spoken or signed has been proven to help with cognitive function, focus and problem-solving skills.
Learning something new can push us outside our comfort zone while helping to evoke change! Diversity and inclusion are so important in our community, sign language is especially useful for frontline workers, those working in hospitals, social care, and hospitality.
