LITTLE SMIDGETS

Creativity has many benefits to your child in the early years.

It helps develop fine motor skills, as well as increase their ability to focus and concentrate. They will also learn new skills, improving their problem solving capabilities and learn how to make their own choices. As well as these benefits, it is also just fun.

The sessions is are for preschool aged children those aged from 12 months and run for 45 minutes.

There will be a main make, which we will guide the children through if they wish. However, if freestyling is more their scene, we have an exploration table set up where they are free to stick and colour whatever it is they feel like!

When the weather allows, we will try to utilise our surrounding and find leaves or other natural items to bring into the session. Some weeks may be guided by a story, some weeks may involve singing, but every week will include stickers!!

We also have ‘baby corner’ available to those who have paid for a child to attend, but also have an additional little one under 12 months. This area will include some toys, books, and some simple dry craft materials to keep them busy.

Our sessions run on Friday mornings at Paddock Wood Community Centre. There is a session starting at 9,30, and one starting at 10.30. There is also a play area on site, as well as ample free parking. The site is fully accessible with toilet and changing facilities available.

There will be refreshments available throughout the session, such as coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Please dress your little one appropriately. We try our best to use washable materials, and will have aprons available, but cannot promise that anything that gets onto clothing will come off. We would advise them to wearing clothing that is ok to get a bit dirty!
