Description
As the word ‘Matrescence’ comes into the limelight, join us as we explore how writers past and present have grappled with finding the words in motherhood. As always, put the kettle on and join us for a relaxed session via Zoom! Babies and children welcome. Advance reading and literary expertise are not necessary. This is a free event and everyone is welcome.

Visit our website to book onto our online reading groups. Our groups have been developed for those in the first year of parenting in mind, but everyone is welcome. We have free online one- off sessions running throughout the year: - 'Finding the Words in Motherhood' and - 'Anticipating Motherhood' We run two different four week online groups: - 'Reading into Motherhood' and - 'Musing on Motherhood' The format of the groups is the same but all writers and texts are different. You can do either or both in any order. A four week course costs £32 per adult. Babies and children are free. We have places available for people who couldn’t otherwise afford to take part.
