MDBRUNCH POPUP COLLECTIVE

Be prepared for an action packed day of "WICKED" music games, vocal skills, learning songs, choreography, staging and preparing an end of day performance.

The #PopUpCollective will work with Mel Field and Naveen Arles who both run lots of singing projects and choirs.  We'll work fast and hard to learn some great songs and 'stage' them.  There will be enough breaks to drink, snack, eat packed lunches and have some chill time. 

Here are some of the outcomes of the day:

- Singing songs from Wicked and meeting like-minded people

- Encouraged to find confidence in public speaking and performing (preparing to start the new school year)

- Vocal technique, music terminology and stagecraft

- An awareness of the science behind how music is the most complex task the brain will ever perform and how what they're actually doing is learning to problem solve faster and better through pattern recognition training

- The #PopUpCollective will perform to parents, carers and guardians at the end of the day

8.45am Check-in and WarmUp
10.30am Break
12.00pm Lunch time
2.30pm Break
4.45pm Pop Up Performance
5.00pm Sign-Out

Who can come and what to bring:

- Young People aged 8-14 can come (for those children with additional needs, please contact us so we can manage their experience)
- Wear comfortable clothing for movement
- Packed lunch, snacks for breaks, water bottle (with your name on it)
- Fully accessible

Meet the Team:
The MDBrunch team, Mel and Nav, collectively bring 70 years worth of extensive experience working with young people and are involved in music teacher training both at a national and international level. They both also carry DBS certification, safeguarding training and MDBrunch carries PLI (public liability insurance).
