This activity is usually led by Classes are run by Coach Ren, Coach Carla, Coach Zoe and Coach Nadine - they are all super lovely and super fun!

Venue: Holy Trinity Church, 4 Trinity Path, Sydenham, London SE26 4EA The hall is bright and airy with plenty of space for buggies. Younger siblings in buggies/slings very welcome. Baby changing and toilets on site

Our Mini Athletes class start the specifics of athletics events through game based activities. This class has the added element of teaching children the basis of athletic skills that can be used in all sports throughout life. In addition, they will aim to improve targets which will be specific to their athleticism of jump, run and throw.
Directions: The Church is situated off Sydenham Park down a small path. There is a red notice board for the church at the start of the path and there will be a Mini Athletics Banner up to help you find it.
Parking: There is free parking on all the surrounding streets (Sydenham Park; Sydenham Park Road, Whittell Gardens etc)
Clothing: We will be running around so sports shoes and comfortable clothing would be best
Refreshments: Please bring a bottle of water for your athlete. All this running around is thirsty work. Short water breaks are included in the sessions to keep athletes hydrated.
Parent Participation: Parents/carers/responsible adults need to be present at every class.
Parent participation is sometimes needed (especially with our younger classes). Our coaching team help parents to encourage children to participate within the structure of the class. Very often it takes 2-3 weeks for children to become familiar with the class routine. However, with parental support, patience and guidance they soon become independent members of the class and have so much fun!
