MONTESSORI PLAY

Come nurture your child's natural desire to learn! I am offering peaceful and engaging classes for children 0-4 years old, inspired by Montessori philosophy.

Through practical activities, arts and crafts, music, and more, children will develop concentration, fine motor skills, and language ability while learning about themselves and their environment. My classes provide opportunities to refine skills and build independence in a calming, safe space.

I am a trained Montessori assistant who spends time observing successful learning environments for young children. I aim to bring the Montessori approach to our community, centered around Maria Montessori's belief to "follow the child" and nurture their intrinsic motivation to grow.

My classes focus on:

Practical life activities like pouring and scooping to build real-life abilities
Sensorial materials and games to promote sensory development
Language exposure through books, songs, and open-ended games
Developing fine motor control and concentration skills through arts, crafts and puzzles
Encouraging independence and freedom within loving limits

After seeing how Montessori education benefitted my daughter starting in infancy, I became passionate about bringing thoughtful Montessori practices to my community. I have trained and extensively, researched and observed authentic Montessori toddler classrooms, then conceived a plan for Montessori Play. My vision was a peaceful environment nurturing children's independence, concentration, coordination, and inherent curiosity through concrete learning. Although I don’t have formal training, I’ve meticulously prepared our classroom based on Montessori principles. It has been incredibly rewarding guiding young minds as they safely explore their interests and develop a lifelong love of learning. My commitment is to follow each child's inner wisdom and support their total development. Montessori Play is my labor of love.
