Description
Join us each Wednesday to share your experiences of motherhood in a safe and welcoming group. We have found that mothering can be as intensely overwhelming as it can be rewarding so we aim to provide a non-judgemental, compassionate group for local mums. A listening circle is a space of connection with other mothers, where we can share what life with children is really like and take strength from each other.
We start gathering from 10:00 in the Willow room at The Green for an informal chat, with hot drinks fruit and a pastry. At 10:30 we sit in circle and start the sharing. We would appreciate if you could arrive by 10:30 so we can start on time.
Show up as you are and share as much or as little as feels right and practice being vulnerable over time.
Best for people with babies from 0 - toddling. We provide toys, mats, breastfeeding pillows and plenty of crawling space for babies.
There is space for prams inside.
Hannah and Maru, a midwife and parenting coach, set up this non-profit group in November 2021, with the aim of combatting maternal loneliness during the first year of mothering.
