Description
A safe, nurturing space to come together with other parents of children with additional needs and disabilities to discuss the unique challenges and joys of parenting in the SEND world. There will be facilitated discussions and a writing exercise. No experience of writing is necessary, the writing is just there as a tool to help you reflect on your own experiences. These sessions will be run by Mothers Uncovered facilitators; Heidi and Sarah, who are also parent carers.
For the session on Sept 3rd, we are running a special parent and child session, as many children are not back at school until the next day.

The Old Boat is pushchair/wheelchair accessible.
Each session is standalone, so you can come to as many as you'd like.
The session is intended for adults - pre-walking babies can be brought, but we can potentially take older children. Email [email protected] to discuss
