Move Into Freedom - Before Birth Sessions
Wellbeing sessions for expectant parents in the run up to their baby's birth
This activity is usually led by Emma is a Perinatal Mental Wellbeing Practitioner with Beyond Birth and is passionate about supporting the whole family in looking after their emotional & mental wellbeing
Fixed course dates
By joining a Before Birth sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet others who are on a similar journey into parenthood. In this safe space you will be invited to share your pregnancy experiences, worries, fears, and hopes. These weekly sessions also provide an opportunity for you to form new friendships and create a support network.
These sessions run for 6 weeks, with each session lasting 1 hour. Mindfulness, relaxation, journaling, and conversation will shape the session and will see you have space and time to reflect on your own journeys as soon to be parents/grandparents/older sibling, learn new skills to look after your mental and emotional wellbeing, whilst having an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, your partner, and baby bump.
These sessions are open to all, you do not need to be the pregnant person to find these sessions useful. You may wish to attend these sessions with your partner, family members, a close friend or an older child (who may be struggling with change for example) or you may wish to join on your own, for some much needed 'me time'

Emma is a Registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist, Somatic Body Map Practitioner, Dance/Movement Wellbeing Practitioner and Trainee Baby Message Teacher with Blossom & Berry.
Emma has a 1 year old boy who was born in lock down and has a french bull dog called Ronnie.
