Does the thought of introducing your little one to a rich variety of music through singing, movement, instruments and fun props fill you with excitement?

Would you like a smaller music class, where your little one gets a lot of attention and their musical development is of most importance?

My classes are inspired by the neurological and musical research of Gordon's Music Learning Theory, and involve lots of interesting songs and chants using all the different modes and metres found in Western music, and different activities, all of which will help you to support your child’s musical development.

I also include music from other cultures within my classes, as well many different instruments, and fun props.

Everything is live – I don’t use any recorded music.

The approach is very playful and involves creating musical dialogues with the babies and toddlers, and interacting through music. The children have freedom to move around in the class as they wish to and explore musically, rather than having to remain in a circle or participate in a specific way.

Most of the class and the music is non-verbal, so we are really focussing on developing the musicality of the children. They spend lots of time in their day focussed on language development, so this is a really special opportunity.

I keep the classes small, with a maximum of ten children per class so that I can really observe each child, continue to support their development at the appropriate level and interact with each of them.
