Description
These classes help children develop in confidence as they usually come into the classroom without their adult (who wait in adjacent room), although this is child-led.
They have lots of fun with instruments, puppets and other resources; they learn clapping games and to work in 'pairs'. They even start singing short solos, and reading simple musical notation! We use elements of the 'Kodaly' principles of music education.
Our pre-schooler classes lay a solid foundation for future instrumental lessons, and help to promote school readiness - the children have no idea they are doing anything but fun and play!
