Description

In these classes children take part in fun, whole group booster sessions in phase 1 phonics. This crucial phase helps in developing the children's abilities to listen to, make, explore and talk about sounds. There are seven aspects that are explored and developed through games, songs, musical instruments and stories. Phase 1 phonics helps children to begin to develop oral blending and segmenting. Phase 2 phonics will be introduced as and when applicable. These sessions are ran by a qualified teacher with 20 years experience in primary teaching and SEN.
