Karen is a professionally trained dancer and having worked in the musical theatre industry for 20 years found yoga and barre to be an amazing way of supporting her body and mind alongside her career. Now a mother and full time yoga and barre instructor, with 10 years of teaching experience under her belt, Karen loves the connection to spirituality, sense of well-being, strength, resilience and balance that the two disciplines bring to her life and is very passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with others. Karen’s barre classes are energetic and dynamic, challenging but great fun and very much form focused for optimum results. Karen’s yoga is a mindful, flowing vinyasa that feels playful, and intuitive and Karen weaves aspects of yogic philosophy into the practice.
