Description
The Perinatal Power Hour is a class dedicated to the expectant or postpartum body. A full body strength and fitness workout, with a particular focus on the pelvic floor and core.
For the mums-to-be, you can expect to feel strong and in control of your ever changing body. All of the exercises help to prepare your body for the physiological changes along the trimesters, and help prepare you for the birth. As your coach, I am able to adapt all exercises to suit your needs and any special attentions; for example, sciatica or pelvic girdle pain.
For the postpartum mama, you can expect to return back to exercise in a safe and supported manor. As your coach, I am able to adapt the exercises to suit you and your postpartum needs. So wether you had a vaginal birth, assisted vaginal birth or C-section, I can adapt all exercises to suit you and benefit your recovery.
I want my Mamas to leave my class feeling proud and energised for their day ahead. Wether that be a day of growing their little bundle of joy through the trimester, or a day looking after their newborn.
This class aims to strengthen the body through functional movements and using suitable weights to do that. So many mums now want to get back to the gym or back to running again after having their baby, and this class helps to do just that.
Or those expecting, want to continue training, but not sure how to do this in a safe and adaptable way.

Babies up to the age of 1 are very welcome to come along.
All prams are welcome and any baby equipment you’d like to bring. Please bring water with you and wear comfortable clothing and supportive footwear.
