Do you have a child starting school in September 2021?
Our starting school workshops, are designed to give your child a head start by providing them with confidence and awareness of phonics before they start school.
In our sessions we will be focusing on...
🌟 The first set of letter sounds that they would learn in their first term of school
🌟 Blending and segmenting skills to develop reading of simple words
🌟 Fine and gross motor skills - supporting pencil-control and writing
🌟 Listening and communication skills
The sessions are made up of short, interactive games, and class sizes will be kept small to ensure I can interact with your child.
This is a 2 session class to introduce children to 6 letter sounds. We explore practical games to support their early phonics skills ready to be able to blend (read) and segment (spell) words.
