At PQA Preston, every student gets their time to shine. Whether it's treading the boards on a West End stage, seeing their very own short film premiere at the cinema, or simply walking into class with a smile and growing in confidence each week, we believe that performing arts is for everyone. We’re passionate about helping children aged 4 to 18 discover their potential in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

Our weekly academy runs on Saturday mornings and offers exciting sessions in Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama, and Film & TV. Each age group rotates through all three modules, giving them a chance to experience every aspect of the performing arts, from singing, dancing and acting, to scriptwriting, storyboarding and filming. It’s not just about performance. It's about teamwork, imagination, problem-solving and communication, all essential life skills that help children thrive both in and out of school.

We celebrate every child, whether they dream of being on stage or just want to build their confidence and make new friends. PQA Preston is a place where students are encouraged to be themselves, try new things and develop at their own pace. With performance opportunities, red carpet events, masterclasses and access to PQA's national film festival and West End shows, there's always something exciting just around the corner.

Booking a free taster session at PQA Preston is quick and easy! Just head to our website, select “Find an Academy,” search for Preston, and click “Book a Free Taster.” Our Saturday morning academy runs from 9:45am to 1:00pm and includes exciting sessions in Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama, and Film & TV for children aged 4 to 18.
