At PQA York, we offer inspiring performing arts classes for children and young people that build confidence, boost creativity, and nurture self-expression through singing, dancing, acting, and filmmaking.

Poppets (Ages 4-6)

Our 90-minute Poppets classes are designed to spark imagination and develop key social, cognitive, and physical skills. Through fun and engaging performing arts activities, children build friendships, explore adventures, and grow in confidence while embracing their amazing selves.

Fridays: 4.45pm – 6.30pm

Saturdays: 9.45am – 11.30am

Main Academy (Ages 6-18)

From musical theatre and comedy to drama and filmmaking, our Main Academy classes offer hands-on learning with expert teachers. Students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, create original content, and develop real industry skills – all while having an absolute blast!

Classes are split into age groups: 6–9, 10–12, and 13–18, with each group rotating through three specialist sessions in musical theatre, film & television and comedy & drama over a 3-hour period.

Fridays: 4.45pm – 8.00pm

Saturdays: 9.45am – 1.00pm & 1.45pm – 5.00pm
