Moms and Pops gives you a chance to do something for you, while meeting other new parents and knowing your baby will be welcome.

"I find RYV almost therapeutic to be singing and having fun with parents and babies alike. Basically, it’s my favourite baby related thing to do in the week." - Jude, alumna

"By far the best activity I do with my daughter!... I am so glad I took the plunge to give it a go." - Cath, alumna

Each session begins with hellos, followed by a relaxed vocal warm up. We'll learn new material each week, as well as revisiting previous songs - usually sing pop, musical theatre and folk in 1-3 part harmony. All levels of experience will be supported and challenged, whether you've been in choirs all your life or haven't used your singing voice since primary school - Moms & Pops is for everyone! We'll even work towards, family-friendly performances for those who'd like to share.

Keeping everyone safe is my #1 priority and that's why we're meeting in the beautiful Barracks Lane Garden. It means we get to enjoy singing with lots of ventilation (and hopefully lots of sun)! You'll be asked to sanitise your hands on arrival and set up camp in a designated 2-metre area. Please bring some toys or cuddlies for your little one, as we aren't able to provide class toys at the moment. For a full risk assessment, please email [email protected]

You can try out the class for just £1 for your first week! After this, classes cost £8 per week and can be paid weekly or by the term. N.B. I'm passionate that everyone who wants to enjoy musical experiences should have the opportunity to do so. If you aren't able to pay £8 a week after your taster, please visit and pay what you can.

Joining a Raise Your Voice class means you become part of our lovely community of families who enjoy sharing music together. You might also like to try Grown Up Choir, Family Choir or Tots Choir - visit for more details!
