RATTLES & HUMS

Get set for a musical adventure that will have your little ones singing, playing and bopping along to some very catchy beats. 
 


From classic, much-loved nursery rhymes to modern children’s songs with interactive elements, expect tunes about pirates, cats, frogs, sleeping bunnies, and more. 
  


But there will also be puppetry, storytelling and we usually end the class by dancing through bubbles whilst Kjell (he/him) plays a song on the guitar!

To top it all, Kjell will occasionally bring a tiny steel drum that we’ll use on our ‘Magical Mystery Rollercoaster’ ride. And for the parents, Kjell has also thrown in a couple of songs that you won’t be able to resist singing along to.

This class, perfect for babies and toddlers aged 8 months to 5 years, provides you with a chance to take a break from the distractions of the outside world and really connect with your little one. 
  


Aside from being buckets of fun, making music encourages the building of social skills too. And through a range of exciting songs, we’ll practice counting and we’ll be learning about body parts, animals and sharing with others. 
  


During the class there will be live music from the guitar, ukulele, a tiny steel drum, and occasionally the violin, harmonica and flute. These are all acoustic instruments, from which you can really feel the sound vibrations travelling through the room to awaken all your senses. 
  


There is no need to bring anything – Kjell will provide everything you and your child need to have a super time, such as yoga mats, shakers, silk scarves, balls and of course, musical instruments! 
 

CLASSES ARE EVERY 1ST AND 3RD MONDAY OF THE MONTH.

Payment is after each class and you can pay with card, your mobile phone or in cash.

The hall at St John’s Church gives us plenty of room to jump, dance, sing and make wonderful music! Buggies can be taken into the hall and Kjell will provide yoga mats to sit on. Toilets and changing facilities are on site and car parking is available in Richmond’s town centre Pay and Display areas.

The entrance to the hall is through the glass doors to the left of the Church’s main entrance. The church is a minute’s walk from Richmond Trainstation and very close to all the coffee houses and eateries Richmond has to offer.
