Description
Story Stars is an engaging storytelling class designed for curious, confident toddlers who are beginning to develop a stronger sense of independence. Aimed at children aged around 2–3 years, these sessions build on early language skills while encouraging imagination, participation and a growing love of books.
Each class is carefully planned to include a mix of stories, songs, rhymes and playful activities that invite children to join in. Familiar routines help little ones feel settled and confident, while new stories and themes spark curiosity and excitement. Through actions, repetition, props and gentle questioning, children are encouraged to listen, respond and express themselves in their own way.
Story Stars supports important early learning skills such as vocabulary development, listening and attention, turn-taking and early narrative understanding. Sessions are lively but relaxed, allowing children to move, explore and participate without pressure. There is no expectation for children to sit still — enthusiasm, movement and individual expression are warmly welcomed.
These sessions also provide valuable shared time for children and their grown-ups. By modelling storytelling techniques and playful ways to explore books, Story Stars helps families feel confident continuing the experience at home. Many parents notice their children becoming more engaged with stories, joining in with favourite phrases and showing increased interest in books as the weeks go on.
Story Stars offers a joyful step forward in your child’s reading journey, supporting growing independence while nurturing creativity, confidence and a lasting love of storytelling.
