READY, STEADY, GO PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

The Free Stay and Play session is for parents/carers and their children aged 0 to 4 years. These sessions are supported through funding from the Neighbourhood Board - Spondon and The National Lottery - Awards for All and enable Ready, Steady, Go Parent and Toddler Group to be accessible to all families in the local community and surrounding areas.

There are a range of activities available that young children love to play with and explore. During the session everyone will come together for a snack and listen to a story and sing familiar nursery rhymes.

We do encourage adults to interact with their child during their play. However, this is also an opportunity for you to spend time with other like-minded parents, chat, build friendships and share parenting knowledge.

Over a cup of tea and a biscuit, the group leader and volunteers will spend time talking to all family members and are also available to signpost adults with any concerns about their own or their child’s health, education and wellbeing. We don’t profess to be expects in everything, but hopefully we can be a listening ear and point you in the right direction to a charity, agency or professional that might help relieve a problem.

As the session is free for you to attend, you can to donate a packet of 'nut free' biscuits or a pack of raisins/sultanas for all parents and toddlers to enjoy.
