Description
In our Rhyme Time sessions, Ange and Karen will use different songs, rhymes, instruments, puppets and props to introduce the children to the excitement of live music.
In these sessions the children will begin to develop an understanding of pulse, pitch and general musicality.
There will be a 30 minute music and movement session led by Angela and Karen to enthuse and engage both adults and children and there will also be some time for free play with rhyme time related toys and activities.
If you have a baby, there is a comfortable area available with mats and baby toys.
Research suggests that, exposing young children to music can ignite all areas of their development and skills in preparation for their school journey; including intellectual, social, emotional, fine motor, language and overall literacy. Being exposed to music also enables children to learn the sounds and meaning of words and it helps the body and the mind work together.

Cost for each session - £4.50 per child Sibling £4.00 per child Half term block booking for 6 or 7 weeks - £4.00 per session/per child If a parent/carer needs to cancel a session for any reason that is not a problem. Please contact Angela Allen (Group leader) via email and another session will be rearranged, that has availability and is suitable for you.
