What is Reps & Rattle?
Reps & Rattle is a friendly, mum-and-baby fitness class designed to help you rebuild strength, boost energy, and connect with other new mums. You can bring your baby along — no need for childcare!
Can I feed my baby during class?
Absolutely! Feeding (breast or bottle) is completely welcome at any time during the session. Take things at your own pace — this is a baby-friendly, zero-pressure environment.
What if my baby cries?
Totally fine — babies cry, and everyone understands! You can comfort, feed, or change your baby whenever needed. The group is full of mums in the same boat, so there’s no judgment.
Is it suitable for all fitness levels?
Yes! Whether you’re just cleared for exercise or already easing back into training, every workout is designed to be adaptable. You can go at your own pace, with modifications provided for all levels.
When can I start attending?
Once you’ve had your postnatal check-up (usually around 6–8 weeks after birth, or 12 weeks after a C-section) and your healthcare provider has cleared you for exercise.
How much does it cost?
First class is £5, drop-in is £12 or x5 consecutive classes for £50.
What should I bring?
- A mat (if you have one)
- Water
- A blanket or toy for your baby
- Any feeding or changing supplies you might need
- Your lovely self — and your baby, of course!
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, please book ahead so I can manage space and equipment.
Can I come without my baby?
Of course! If you’d like to focus purely on your workout one day, you’re welcome to come solo.
Where are the sessions held?
Classes take place at Penge East Community Centre— with space for prams and easy access for baby gear.
