RISE SCHOOL OF DANCE & THEATRE ARTS

Musical Theatre classes are a great way to introduce your child to the joy of singing and acting. Students will work on scenes and songs from a wide variety of the Musical Theatre repertoire and will be encouraged to develop their performance technique through song. Our students will have performance opportunities to showcase their work. Musical Theatre unites the three essential disciplines of performing arts: Acting, Singing, and Movement.

Our students will:

• Work on pitch, tone, rhythm and vocal range
• Learn warm up exercises and breath control
• Focus on Dexterity and articulation
• Practice performing the story of the song
• Develop vocal technique
• Be exposed to a variety of different musical genres and styles
• Have showcase and presentation opportunities
