SENSE STORIES BY KIDS AT PLAY

SEN Stories is a welcoming, inclusive class for children with additional needs, up to 10 years old. Our carefully designed sensory and storytime sessions create a safe and engaging space for all abilities to explore, play, and connect.

Each session includes interactive storytelling with Makaton signs, messy and sensory play trays, movement games, themed toys, and calming moments tailored to your child’s unique needs. We use a range of sensory equipment and toys that link to our weekly theme, supporting language, social, and emotional skills in a way that’s fun and accessible for everyone.

At SEN Stories, every child is valued. We keep groups smaller to ensure a calm environment, and our team understands how to adapt activities to suit children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, or other additional needs. Parents and carers are encouraged to join in, connect, and share in the joy of sensory play!
