Sing and Sign - Stage One
Helping babies communicate before speech
This activity is usually led by Jenny
Highams Park , London
6 months - 13 months
Term time only
NB: This event MUST be booked in advance. No drop-ins.
Babies use all kinds of signs and gestures as a natural part of learning to talk. Encouraging your baby with signs like milk, more, change nappy or tired will help your baby communicate. Our classes follow the same structure every week, which is something that the babies soon learn to recognise and respond to very positively. We introduce new signs each week and we then "spiral learn", so that signs and songs are repeated throughout the term.
Join us for our Summer Term to learn how to communicate with your toddler using baby sign language. You will learn how to sign yourselves through daily routines such as nap times, meal times, bath times etc as well as explore animals, vehicles, emotions and lots more! Signing is not only hugely educational, enhancing baby's early speech and language acquisition, but it's incredible rewarding and so much fun! To book please visit our online booking site- www.bookmyclass.co.uk/singandsign/?FID=244, select Stage One
