This is a face to face class which you attend every week (one adult only) for 10 weeks. Fees include a Jessie Cat Songbook with free CD, weekly online zoom on Saturdays and membership of our online site with specific Babes materials.
Sing and Sign Babes is the very beginning of learning to sign with your baby and to encourage your little one to start learning signs from you. It is a gentle, multisensory class, focused on setting you and your baby up for being amazing signers. The only equipment you will need to provide is a percussion musical instrument. I will provide you with a bag and transparent scarf, for the classes.
The class is especially suitable for bilingual families who are interested in accelerating their child's language acquisition.
You can attend these classes even if your baby falls asleep - you will learn lots that you can start using immediately with him or her.
Trish Cummings is one of the most experienced babysigning teachers in the UK, having been teaching for over 17 years. :)
Enter via Beardell Street if you need the lift. Class is on the second floor. If using a sling, you may also enter via the main entrance.

Twins are welcome at no additional cost if accompanied by only one adult. Covid measures: masks are encouraged, especially whilst you are not seated in your space in class. We provided hand sanitiser and Clinell wipes. We encourage everyone to check in with NHS Test and Trace and we require all class members to complete a declaration each week that they and family members are not experiencing Covid symptoms, have not been told to self isolate, and are not experiencing other highly infectious diseases such as chicken pox, impetigo, hand foot and mouth, etc.. Parents/carers are welcome to wear a mask at all times in classes. Where possible, we will ventilate rooms - so please bring layers for yourself and your baby.
