STRINGS WITH AYLAR

Learning a musical instrument can seem daunting and scary and often a lack of core music skills can deter students early on. Here at Strings with Aylar, we ensure that students learn how to read various symbols and notes on the treble clef through fun interactive games using a variety of pedagogical styles. We also use singing as a means of consolidating learning and use song as a way of a developing pitch recognition. These sessions are designed to help your child become musically “more rounded” and through the art of storytelling students have the chance to explore with sound.

At the end of the 8 weeks there will be a brief “showcase” of what the students have learnt to parents and carers.

Please ensure that you are in a space that is:

• Free from distractions (try to minimise toys or devices in the room)
• An area that is safe to move in (this needs only be 5m x 5m)
