TALK AND MOVE

The 5 week Talk and Move course combines fun movement and activities to develop your child's speech, language and communication skills through movement.

Developed by a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist his holistic programme supports parents/ carers and children.

The course also helps their physical development including their balance, co-ordination and motor skills.

You will learn techniques that you can use with your child to support their emotional regulation and behaviour at home.

You will be given a pack of Talk & Move cards that you can use at home. The course includes 29 cards and 29 moves that are linked to 29 individual speech sounds.

With Active, Balancing and Calming moves the course will equip you with a tool box of strategies to help energise or calm your child.

Helen Guntrip is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 20 years experience working with children and families. She is also a preschool yoga teacher.

Parents will stay with their children for the duration of the classes.
