Intergenerational Dance Class at the Dementia Café
Join us for a heartwarming and joyful dance experience that brings generations together! Our Intergenerational Dance Class takes place at the Dementia Café and is specially designed to connect little ones with the wonderful senior patrons of the café through music, movement, and laughter.
This unique session blends all the fun of a Tappy Toes class — with songs, props, and dancing games — while encouraging meaningful interaction between children and older adults living with dementia. It’s a magical opportunity for shared smiles, connection, and a beautiful sense of community.
Whether it’s a toddler holding hands with a grandparent figure or a baby clapping along with a new friend, these sessions are full of special moments that benefit everyone involved.

Tappy Toes Classes run during term time. You can enrol for a whole term or book a trial session. The trial is three consecutive classes which will be give you a great taster of how the classes run and how your little one learns and blossoms even over just three weeks! Tappy Toes events are one-off themed classes for one date only and are usually during half term. These can be booked in the same way online for a single session fee.
