Description

Our classes provide a fun start for children wishing to experience the joy of dance in a creative and structured environment.

There is a strong emphasis on theatrical performance from Karen who brings a wealth of teaching and professional dance experience to her classes.

Our teachers will actively dance and demonstrate with the children ensuring that each class is taught in a stimulating but instructive manor.

Parents may assist the younger children where necessary although usually the children are able to do most of the class by themselves once they are over 2 1/2 years.

General
Ideally your child should arrive about 5 minutes early so they can settle into the hall space and meet Karen before the class.

The classes are conducted in a fun but structured environment to a combination of children’s and classical music.

It does sometimes take a few weeks for the children to settle into the classes, particularly with the younger children or if they are fairly shy, however once you have attended, you will know if the classes are right for her.

COVID 19 safety measures
We will be applying all necessary Covid-19 safety measures as stipulated at the time to ensure that the children, their parents and our teachers remain safe.

Our teachers will maintain strict studio hygiene measures disinfecting surfaces, door handles etc.
In classes where mums or nannies are attending they will be required to wear face masks.
The children and our teachers will not wear face masks.

Uniform
For the FIRST TRIAL class your child should just attend in something comfortable like shorts/leggings, t-shirt, soft shoes or non-slip socks.
If they already have a uniform from another school then that would be ideal for the trial session.

AFTER the first class is you wish to continue, you should try and get the uniform as soon as possible as it makes the children feel as if they belong in the class.

Please contact us for links to purchase the uniform.
