The Little Club was created with a lot of heart.. and a lot of understanding.

Becoming a parent for the first time can feel exciting, overwhelming, and surprisingly lonely all at once. As a 30-year-old first-time mum, I found that many baby classes and groups felt difficult to walk into. Everyone already seemed to know each other, and it wasn’t always easy to feel welcomed or included. Over time, this led me to avoid groups altogether, and later to carry guilt that my son hadn’t had many chances to be around children his own age.

I knew I couldn’t be the only one who felt this way.

So The Little Club was created to be the kind of space I would have loved to walk into — warm, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming.

This is a friendly, non-judgemental stay-and-play group for babies/toddlers aged 0–4, where parents and carers can come just as they are. There’s no pressure to “fit in,” no cliques, and no expectations, just parents chatting, connecting, and supporting one another while their little ones play, explore, and make friends in their own time.

Sessions are held in a large, bright, secure hall and include a range of play stations and themed activity mats.

🚗 Transport-themed play area with cars, planes, and other vehicles

🐮 Farm and safari animal play mat for imaginative play

🖍️ Arts and Crafts

🧩 Puzzles and early problem-solving activities

🧸 Sensory play - a calm, baby-friendly area

Children are free to move between activities at their own pace, while parents and carers remain close by to supervise and join in as they wish.

This is a stay-and-play session, and parents/carers remain responsible for supervising their own children at all times.

Whether this is your first group, or you’ve tried others before, you’ll be warmly welcomed at The Little Club. Come along, enjoy a cuppa, meet other parents, and let your little ones burn some energy in a space created with care, kindness, and community.

Tea and coffee for adults

DBS-checked, first-aid-trained staff

Pushchair and wheelchair accessible venue
Disabled toilet with baby-changing facilities. Space available indoors to safely store pushchairs.

To keep sessions calm, safe, and enjoyable for everyone: Sessions are initially limited to a maximum of 15 children.
