THE LOG CIRCLE FOREST SCHOOL

A range of activities will be provided for children to get involved with, although our sessions will always be child-led and we do encourage our Little Wild Tots to make their own adventures! Each session will continue to incorporate a full range of experiences at every session; including our new and improved mud kitchen 'The Mixery', natural crafts, songs, stories, exploration and lots of child-led nature play! 

Children are invited to start and end the session together in the log circle, where we will also come together to share a warm drink and a snack. These weekly sessions will follow the same structure and ethos as those of our Forest School programme (for children over 2yrs), but without the fire, ropes and tool work. 

Little Wild Tots sessions are now primarily bookable in blocks of 6 or 12 weeks, although we do still offer a few adhoc spaces in each session for those needing a little more flexibility, and we welcome those wishing to try a taster session before committing to a block.

Each Wild Tots Forest Play session will be led by our lovely Forest Play Leader Jess Juniper, who is a fully qualified and experienced Early Years teacher. She will also have at least one of our lovely Log Circle assistants and volunteers to assist her. All our staff are DBS checked and undergo appropriate training.

Please note: as we are moving into the winter months we may begin to make flexible use of our indoor space when needed. We will also begin to provide tea and coffee facilities to keep mums and dads warm, so please bring along a travel mug!

This is a fully outdoor group, all year round except in very adverse weather conditions. Please check our booking page or website for more information about what to wear and what to bring to ensure you and your child are well equipped :)
