Nurslings: Infant Feeding & Early Parenting Support Group

Nurslings is a warm, welcoming weekly group for new mums and their babies, designed to offer practical support and friendly company through the early weeks and months of parenthood. Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle feeding, mixed feeding, or expressing, this is a safe, non-judgemental space where all feeding choices are respected and supported.

Each session provides a relaxed environment where you can feed your baby comfortably, connect with other parents, and share your experiences. Led by Steph, a trained Breastfeeding Counsellor, Laura, a trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter, and Caroline, our refreshment queen, the group offers expert advice on infant feeding - from latch and positioning to managing common challenges and support throughout your breastfeeding journey, including returning to work and weaning.

But Nurslings is about more than feeding. It’s a chance to build friendships, ask questions about early parenting, and get emotional support from people who truly understand. Sessions encourage open conversation, so you can talk about your highs and lows knowing you’ll be listened to with care.

Nurslings is for every parent with a baby - from newborns to pre-walkers - whether it’s your first baby or your fifth. You don’t need to be struggling to come along; this group helps build confidence, reduce isolation, and provide encouragement on your unique parenting journey.

Free to attend, but we ask for a suggested donation of £3 from those who can afford it. Parking onsite is extremely limited, but there's plenty available in nearby streets. Easy pram access and space to park prams up inside. Baby changing facilities available, but please take used nappies home with you.
