Description

This yoga class is sequenced for mothers, those of us ready for a safe challenge focusing on building strength and mobility.

My passion is to positively support as many women on their journey through pregnancy, birth and beyond.

This strengthening vinyasa class is a type of yoga that flows gracefully from one posture to another making the transitions part of the focus allowing a continuous practice with continuous focus on the breath which calms the nervous system, cultivates focus and awareness whilst improving flexibility, strength and mobility.

The class is thoughtfully sequenced to help mothers adapt their yoga practice to meet their changing needs as women offering many modifications for all levels.

My aim is to empower women with knowledge, information, choices and techniques to build confidence, inner strength and trust in our truly amazing bodies.

Whilst I am alignment focused to protect students from injury I do not believe there are any perfect postures and strongly advise we work with our bodies instead of against them.

This class is not suitable for yoga beginners or women who have recently had a baby.

Most students join this class from 10 -12 months postnatal dependant on their recovery.

I also offer private sessions from £65ph.
In a private garden or studio with bifold doors opening onto decking and large tranquil garden to ensure social distancing.

Always practice at your own pace, and be sure to come to a resting position at any time during the class should you feel you need to.

Props that are useful -
A yoga mat
A few pillows
A few blankets
A block or book

Please wear any comfortable clothing.

You will need to download the Zoom app and register for a basic account.

Please join the class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're ready to start the class and to avoid any technical problems.

Turn your volume up and your camera on, you can coose to turn your camera off when we begin to practice if you prefer.
